ACQUISTION OF TELLINGS GOLDEN MILLER GROUP BY ARRIVA PLC


The acquisition of the Tellings Golden Miller Group by Arriva plc was completed on 4 March 2008. The related application by Tellings Golden Miller to the London Stock Exchange for the cancellation of admission to trading of Tellings Golden Miller Shares on AIM took effect on 12 February 2008.

Tellings Golden Miller touches down at Stansted, Manchester and Gatwick airports


Heathrow-based coach, bus and airport logistics company Tellings Golden Miller Group (TGM) has acquired Stansted-based Excel Passenger Logistics Limited and its associated businesses, Flight Delay Services Limited in Manchester and Excel Gatwick Limited.

The three companies acquired primarily provide transport and accommodation services to the airline industry for passengers from cancelled, delayed or diverted flights. With a fleet of approximately 50 passenger vehicles and 90 employees, the companies also operate contracted and commercial bus services to the British Airports Authority and local councils, as well as private coach hire and airside crew transport.

TGM managing director Stephen Telling said: “This acquisition widens our reach from Heathrow to London’s Gatwick and Stansted airports and to Manchester – serving airports throughout the UK. This strategic network of operations gives us a stronger foundation to develop the airport-related transport and logistics business”.

Tellings take delivery of a further Scania Euro 4 Coach 1st June 2007

We are pleased to announce that we have now taken delivery of another Scania K114 Irizar Century Euro 4 coach. The vehicle is a standard 12 meter coach fitted with 53 seats and is identical to the 2 vehicles that were purchased last year. This now takes the number of Scania Coaches in the fleet to 5, last years vehicles have performed as well as our traditional Volvo coaches so we will now specify either Volvo or Scania on all future coach chassis.

We are please to announce that we have now taken delivery of 2 new Volvo B12B Plaxton Panther Coaches. These are built to our high specifications and fitted with 53 seats, leather cushions and piping, air conditioning and the other usual refinements you would expect. These vehicles are painted in Gullivers Travel Associates Livery and will be used entirely on their work in London.

Tellings move to new H.Q., Operations Center and Workshop April 2007

We are pleased to announce that at this years coach rally we won the following awards Top Executive Coach, Top Vanhool, Top Coach from a Guild Of British Coach Operators member Company, Top Coach from an LTCOA member Company, Best colour co ordinated interior, Top coach supplied by Moseley in the South Ltd. This is an excellent result as we entered GS05TGM which is the same vehicle that we have entered 3 years on the trot and have now won every award that is possible with the vehicle. This is an excellent result for everyone in the company.

We are pleased to announce that today Tellings Group have acquired a 75% share holding of OFJ Ground Services Ltd. This is a specialist maintenance company which specialises in both Airport Ground Equipment and Passenger Transport Vehicle Maintenance. Tellings Purchase 2 new Volvo B12B fully accessible National Express Coaches January 2007 


We are pleased to announce that we have now taken delivery of 2 new Volvo B12B Plaxton Panther Express Liners. These new vehicles are built to National Express's specification and include Wheel Chair Access through the front door, 49 Leather Seats and a host of other equipment. They also comply with the latest Euro 4 emission regulations. One vehicles will run from our Portsmouth Depot operating the 027 service. The other vehicle will be run by Classic Coaches from Newcastle to London.

Tellings Sell Airline Crew Transport Business to OFJ Connections January 2007 


We have now reached agreement with OFJ Connections to sell them our Airline Crew Business. This will allow Tellings to concentrate on our traditional London Tourist and Private Hire business in the Heathrow and London Areas.

Tellings win new contract to supply bus service in Portsmouth September 2006 


We are please to announce that we have won a new contract to operate the 'Isle of Wight' Hovercraft service linking the hovercraft station in Southsea to Portsmouth. We have transferred a year old bus from Colchester to operate this service.

Tellings takes delivery of first Euro 4 vehicles June 2006. 


We have now taken delivery of the first euro 4 vehicle built by Scania. This shows our commitment to reducing pollution as they are fitted with new generation engines which generate low emissions. We have now taken delivery of 2 Scania Irizar Century vehicles which are the first Scania Vehicles that have been brought for Tellings London fleet. The vehicles are fitted with luxury 53 seats please see our coach fleet pages for full details.

Tellings take delivery of 4 new Volvo B12M Plaxton Panther Coaches April 2006 


We have taken delivery of 4 new 12.8 meter Volvo B12M Conjunction Panther coaches. These vehicles show a further investment of over £850,000.00. The vehicles are fitted with 50 luxury seats fitted with 3 point seat belts, leather headrest pillows and piping, foot rests. Brighton Coach Rally 2006 News 


This year we won the prize for the "Best In All Classes" category which is the runner up to the coach of the year award. This is an excellent result as we entered the same coach that we won "The Coach Of The Year" award in 2005. We also won "The Top Team" award for the highest placed vehicle in Saturdays road run and Richard Telling also won the "Peter Bostock" trophy for the highest placed driver in the Saturday driving tests.

New National Express Contract Awarded to Tellings Golden Miller. 


Sunday transferring November saw us start a new contract for National Express the new route number 324 runs from Bradford to Paington daily via Leeds, Sheffield, Derby, Birmingham, Bristol. Exeter and Torquay. We have taken delivery of a further 3 Volvo B12B Plaxton Panther expressliners to operate this route in Conjunction with our other route 310 that runs from Portsmouth to Bradford daily.

Tellings Golden Miller Open New Heathrow Depot 26th September 2005. 


We have today opened our new depot at Londons Heathrow Airport. The new depot will be the operating center for our Private Hire and also our Airline Transport Division's. Our new depot will allow us to deliver an improved service to our customers at Heathrow. This marks the start off us moving from our main site at Twickenham which wassold with our bus operation to Travel London in June 2005.

Tellings Golden Miller start to implement Fleet Improvements within our Airline Transport Division September 2005


We have now started to upgrade our fleet within our airline transport division and this will be completed by the end of October. The changes involve 8 newer Volvo & Iveco full size coaches transferring to the operation which will allow us to dispose of 9 elderly Scania coaches. Other upgrades to the vehicles within our airline division include repainting all off our vehicles so they are in our standard fleet livery, retirmming worn seats. All these changes will mean an improved appearance and facilities for our airline customers.
